THE NURSERY IS DONE

OK - we've been diligently working on the nursery and racing the clock to HA2's due date AND we made it! Although, now that his due date has come and gone and he's still content lounging about in the "oven", it seems our mad rush to complete this was a bit premature. But, better us than him, though, right? We wanted to go rather gender neutral so the same room and decor will be fine for a little girl some day. So we went with a book theme to reinforce the high value we place on reading. Well, here's the rooms progression...

Here's the wallpaper boarder Nichole chose as the nursery's theme. Pretty darned cute, don'tcha think?

And here's the first piece on the wall - a five picture photo shelf with pics of all the family pets including Broux, Cheryl & Root Beer.

And the completed room...TAA DAA!!! Or, well, as much as I could fit in one pic. The bookshelves are filled with children's books interspersed with various toys and stuffed animals...like the border....get it....TOO CUTE!!!
