The Gautreaux Crest

Here's a close up on the end "Sheild" with the Gautreaux Crest as determined by a family history lookup web site.  Interesting in that the Crest was the proud family symbol emblazoned on the battle shield to lead the warroirs of old to battle, to protect them and lead them to victory...The Family History goes on to say that the area of France where the Gautreaux clan originated from was over run, and overtaken by the Visagoths, the Moores, the Romans, the Vandales, the Sueves, and the Franks.  Now there's a legacy to emblematize!  Well, they were French!  It is really cool to have though and we'll just attach a new legacy to the crest for Hank Adam to pass on.

As for it's addition to the Cradle, the wood work is amazing and the wood itself is just beautiful.  What a priceless gift!  Thank You Marc!
