He has amazing parents and grandparents (and aunts and uncles too...) and will never hunger for affection, that is for sure. The adoration in that room was tangible. Thank you to you both for allowing me to participate in such an intimate and powerful moment in your lives. I realized that out of the ten births I have attended, this was the first one of a first time mom (other than MY firstborn of course)! To watch the emotions flow from patience to excitement to apprehension to shock to amazement to joy to elation to peaceful wonder... WOW! Nichole, you are an amazing woman and birthed like a seasoned mom, truly... You rock. Hank, the love and adoration and support that you provided for Nichole was so beautiful. You are such a quiet person, but I think that some people don't need words to speak their mind. Your eyes and movements spoke such passion for LIFE. We could all learn a lesson from that. Finally, Hank Adam Deux... What a beautiful boy you are. A perfect mesh of mom and dad, both physically and all the qualities I listed above. You are a trooper like your mom, determined to git 'r done :), and quiet like daddy, but saying it all with those big round eyes!!! I LOVE ALL THREE OF YOU!!! *sigh
Congratulations! Very Handsome kid. And with a name like that, I can see him as an LSU Tight-end in the future. If his first words aren't "Geaux Tigers", something's wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very happy for the three of you. Rest while you can, and enjoy.
Hank and Nichole, Mom called me bright and early this morning to tell me about the baby. I am soooo happy for the 3 of you. He is absolutely beautiful. Congrats and God Bless all of you! Michelle, Kevin, Holly and Abi
Hi Everybody! Hank & Nichole here in Georgia by way of New Orleans and Southern California, so we have friends and family spread across the country (and some around the world). We really miss so many people that we are removed from now that we live out in the sticks (Which We LOVE!) and this blog is for all of you, so help us out a little here by leaving suggestions, comments, questions and opinions for us. We look forward to keeping you up to date on our lives especially now that we just had our first child, Hank Adam II.
A little more about us... we've been very happily married for three years now. I keep pretty busy as a Husband, New Daddy, LSU Tiger fan, Company President, Landscape Engineer, Wildlife Rehabilitator, Animal Curator, Forrest Manager, Equine Enthusiast (Aspiring Cowboy), Vintner, Fishing Pond Preservationist, and Country Boy!. We are typical Red State conservatives, God-loving people, Family oriented (very important to us) simple folks. We dont ask for much and we love living out in the country.
